Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee has dismissed a notice widely circulating on social media regarding the HSC exam result date, calling it completely false and ill-motivated.
The clarification was issued on Thursday (October 22) through an urgent public notice signed by Professor Jasmin Taslima Banu, Convener of the Committee and Controller of Examinations at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka.
According to the notice, the education boards have no connection or involvement with the misleading announcement circulating on social media regarding the date and time of the 2026 HSC exam results.
The committee emphasized that all decisions, notices, and directives concerning examinations and results are exclusively published on the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, and the respective education boards.
The committee requested examinees, parents, teachers, heads of educational institutions, center officers-in-charge, and the general public not to believe or share any unverified information circulating on social media. It also urged everyone to refrain from spreading rumors and misleading information.
