Gunmen open fire at Khulna clinic, vandalise doctor’s chamber

Unidentified gunmen opened fire at Sandhani Clinic on Babukhan Road in Khulna city and vandalised a doctor’s chamber and the reception area on Saturday (October 24) night, triggering panic among patients and their relatives.

The incident occurred around 9:45PM when seven to eight assailants arrived on motorcycles and fired indiscriminately at the clinic before damaging the chamber of Professor Dr Md Kutub Uddin Mallik and the reception area.

No casualties were reported in the incident, Officer-in-Charge of Khulna Sadar Police Station Lokman Hossain confirmed.

Police are investigating the incident to identify those involved and determine the motive behind the attack.
