Senior executives from Türkiye’s Koç Holding and Beko have reaffirmed their commitment to the growth of Singer Bangladesh following a visit to the company’s manufacturing plant, a Singer | Beko concept store and its corporate headquarters.
The delegation visited the facilities on October 19. It included Polat Şen, president of the Consumer Durables Group at Koç Holding; Zafer Üstüner, chief commercial officer for Asia, Russia and South Africa at Beko and CEO of Arçelik Hitachi; and Nihat Bayız, chief production and technology officer at Beko.
They were hosted by M H M Fairoz, managing director and CEO of Singer Bangladesh, a subsidiary of Beko.
Singer Bangladesh has been developing its manufacturing and retail operations, including opening a new manufacturing plant and concept stores. The company has also relocated its headquarters to a facility designed to meet Beko’s global workplace standards.
The company said these developments reflect its efforts to strengthen manufacturing capabilities and improve experiences for customers and employees. It added that continued investment would help it respond to the changing needs of Bangladeshi households.
The visit also highlighted economic ties between Bangladesh and Türkiye. Bilateral trade between the two countries reached approximately US$1.36 billion in 2025, with a stated target of increasing the figure to US$2 billion.
