BD, Pakistan discuss trade in essential commodities

Pakistan High Commissioner Mr. Imran Haider called on Food Minister Afroza Khanam, MP, on Monday (October 26).

Discussions focused on food security, safety, capacity building and trade in essential commodities.

The minister referred to the bilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) on rice trade and subsequent supplies to Bangladesh in a timely manner.

Both sides agreed to explore opportunities to strengthen trade in essential commodities.
