Vijay-Rashmika team files cybercrime complaint

The team representing actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has filed a complaint with Hyderabad cybercrime authorities over allegedly false and misleading online content about the pair.

According to a statement issued by the team, a representative physically submitted the complaint, seeking an impartial investigation into content circulated on social media and digital platforms.

The complaint identifies alleged false narratives, fabricated content, manipulated screenshots, impersonation and targeted online harassment.

The team has also submitted relevant links and supporting evidence to the authorities for examination.

The statement said the team respects freedom of speech, individual opinions and criticism but stressed that expressing opinions differs from presenting fabricated or misleading claims as facts.

The complaint comes after the actors' appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 9.
