190 poor families get financial aid at Lalmohan

LALMOHAN, BHOLA, Oct 27: Financial assistance cheques were distributed to 190 disadvantaged families in Lalmohan Upazila of the district on behalf of National Parliament Speaker and Maj (retd) Gen Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikram.

At a ceremony held on Monday morning at the Upazila BNP office, party leaders handed each family a cheque of Tk 10,000, totalling Tk 19 lakh.

Speakers at the event emphasised the importance of supporting vulnerable people and helping them overcome financial hardship.
