Probe launched against madrasa principal over fake certificates

The Directorate of Madrasah Education has formed a committee to investigate allegations that Katlasen Kaderia Kamil Madrasa principal Mohammad Delwar Hossain in Mymensingh secured his job using fake educational certificates.

He is also accused of corruption, bribery, irregularities and embezzlement.

An office order issued on Thursday (October 29) directed the three-member committee to investigate the allegations and submit a report within five working days.

The complaint was filed by the madrasa's lifetime donor member, Md Ataur Rahman, who alleged that Delwar had been working illegally as principal since October 12, 2022, using forged Fazil and Kamil certificates.
