Bangladesh, DBCCI plan trade delegation visit to Netherlands in April 2027

Bangladesh and the Netherlands are looking to strengthen trade and investment ties through a proposed business delegation visit to the Netherlands in April 2027.

The plan was discussed at a dinner meeting between officials of the Bangladesh Embassy in The Hague and a delegation from the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI) on October 30.

Bangladesh Ambassador to the Netherlands Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, Counsellor and Head of Chancery Md Hasan Abdullah Towhid, and First Secretary Md Mahade Alam Bintu attended the meeting.

DBCCI President Shakawat Hossain Mamun and Coordinator Biswajit Roy represented the chamber.

The proposed delegation visit is expected to facilitate business networking, business-to-business meetings and trade promotion between companies from the two countries.

The initiative also aims to help Bangladeshi and Dutch businesses explore new partnerships and investment prospects.

DBCCI expressed its commitment to working with the embassy and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen commercial ties and promote mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
