Khulna Agricultural University appoints acting registrar

Khulna Agricultural University (KAU) has appointed Mohammad Rajibul Karim, director of its Planning and Development Division, as acting registrar.

The appointment was made through an office order issued on 1 November 2026 with the approval of the university's vice-chancellor. He assumed the additional responsibility on 2 November and will continue in the role until further notice.

Under a separate provision of the same order, Deputy Controller of Examinations Mohammad Rezaul Islam was relieved of his additional responsibility as registrar with effect from the afternoon of 1 November.

The order states that Rajibul Karim will receive the allowances applicable under university rules while performing his additional duties.

Rajibul Karim currently serves as director of the university's Planning and Development Division.
