Cabinet meeting underway with PM in chair

A cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is underway at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka.

The meeting began on Monday afternoon at the Cabinet Division conference room.

Ministers, state ministers and secretaries of the relevant ministries are attending the meeting.

Several important policy decisions and draft laws, along with issues concerning the country's current situation and development activities, are expected to be discussed and approved at the meeting.

According to Cabinet Division sources, a press briefing will be held after the meeting at the Press Information Department (PID) conference room on the third floor of the Secretariat.

The Cabinet Secretary will brief journalists and provide details of the decisions taken at the meeting.
