BCB Instagram hit by cyberattack, suspicious links sent

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has warned cricketers, officials and other cricket stakeholders against suspicious links being sent through its official Instagram account following repeated hacking attempts.
In a Facebook warning on Monday (November 2), the BCB said the messages contained links to illegal cryptocurrency and betting websites, as well as phishing links that could steal personal information and login credentials.
The board urged everyone to avoid clicking on any links or responding to messages from the account until further notice.
The BCB said it was taking steps to recover the account and strengthen its security but did not disclose whether hackers had gained full control.
