B'desh approves 29 public holidays for 2027

The government has approved 29 public holidays for 2027, including 15 general holidays and 14 holidays to be granted by executive order.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani announced the decision at a press briefing at the Press Information Department conference room in the Secretariat on Monday evening.

The Cabinet approved the holiday calendar at a meeting held earlier in the afternoon, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Secretariat.
