Member of Parliament Ishraque Hossain has been appointed as the president of the newly announced 29-member ad-hoc committee of the Bangladesh Martial Arts Confederation.

The National Sports Council issued an order signed by Executive Director Md Doltuzzaman Khan on Tuesday (November 3), directing the new committee to complete elections and hand over responsibilities to an elected body within the next three months.

Mahfuz Hasan has been named general secretary of the committee. Other key appointees include Jasmine Nahar, Md Monirul Islam, Md Abdul Halim, Mohammad Tarikul Alam, Md Shahidul Islam, and Shahed Wahed Ali as vice-presidents.
