Visiting Chinese Communist Party International Department Minister Liu Haixing paid respects at the graves of slain President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka on Wednesday morning (November 4).

The visiting senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) placed floral wreaths at the gravesites and stood in solemn silence to honor the memory of President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi welcomed the Chinese delegation on site, highlighting the enduring diplomatic ties and friendly relations between Bangladesh and China.

Senior BNP leaders including Vice Chairman Air Vice Marshal (retd) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Joint Secretaries General Khairul Kabir Khokon and Advocate Abdus Salam Azad were present alongside high-ranking officials from the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.
