The supplementary examinations for regular and irregular candidates who appeared in the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations will begin on December 1.

Online form fill-up will start on November 5 and continue until November 9. The deadline for payment of examination fees is November 10.

The information was announced in a notice signed by Dhaka Education Board Controller of Examinations Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu on Wednesday (November 4).

According to the notice, students who failed in a maximum of two subjects, excluding the fourth subject, in the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations as regular or irregular candidates will be eligible to sit for the supplementary examinations.

Candidates must complete the form fill-up process through their respective educational institutions.

Institution authorities will first display the probable list of candidates on the Dhaka Education Board website, www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd. They must then verify the candidates' information and print the list of selected students.

The printed list must be signed by both the candidates and the respective institution authorities before completing the electronic form fill-up (eFF) process online.

Examination fees must be paid through Sonali Seba within the stipulated deadline.

According to the notice, the fee has been set at Tk 125 for each theoretical paper or subject and Tk 25 for each practical paper. An additional examination centre fee of Tk 450 will also apply.

All examination fees must be deposited through Sonali Seba at any branch of Sonali Bank in favour of the board secretary.

The notice stated that fees cannot be paid in cash or through pay orders, postal orders, money orders or treasury challans.

It also warned that no examination fees or other documents would be accepted after the deadline. Candidates have been advised to contact their respective educational institutions and complete the form fill-up and fee payment procedures within the stipulated time.
