Police get 3 more days to question Disha

 
A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed Jerika Tasnim Disha (19) on a fresh three-day remand in the murder case of former Air Force Flight Lieutenant KM Tahsif Souri. Metropolitan Magistrate Md Manjurul Islam passed the order after a hearing on November 4.

Disha was produced before the court after completing a four-day remand. Investigation Officer Inspector Firoz Uddin of the Tongi River Police Outpost sought a fresh seven-day remand for further interrogation.

According to the remand petition, Disha was with Tahshif at a restaurant in Uttara on the night of October 27. She was also reportedly seen with another accused, Ahmed Shahriar Reza Dip(23) at a motorcycle garage. Analysis of Tahsif’s call records also showed that they had communicated several times before his death.
