Southeast University holds rally to mark National Constitution Day -2026

The School of Law, Southeast University, has organized a grand rally on the occasion of ‘National Constitution Day -2026’ at its campus to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on November 4, 1972, by the constituent assembly of Bangladesh in 1972. 

The theme set for this year is “Democracy, Rule of Law and Ensuring Human Rights are the Core Spirit of Our Constitution”.

The rally was led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, PhD, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. M. MofazzalHossain, PhD, Dean School of Law, Prof. FarhanaHelalMehtab, PhD and the Registrar Air Commodore Muhammad MushtaqurRahman (LPR) of Southeast University.

It was attended by the faculty members and the students from the Department of Law, Southeast University. The school of Law organizes such a rally every year to raise awareness among peoples about the importance of constitution and constitutionalism in the process of nation building.
