A crude bomb exploded inside the Ansar and VDP (Village Defence Party) Headquarters in Dhaka's Khilgaon area on Friday (6 November) evening.

The incident took place around 7:00 PM. No casualties or injuries were reported following the explosion.

Khilgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Saiful Islam confirmed that miscreants hurled a crude bomb from outside the premises, which detonated after falling inside the Ansar and VDP Headquarters.

Members of the police and security forces inspected the site shortly after the incident. Law enforcement agencies have initiated an investigation to identify and arrest the individuals responsible for the attack.
