Mir Helal urges unity for prosperity

Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs State Minister Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin has called for collective efforts to build a prosperous Bangladesh based on democracy, equality, justice and economic freedom, inspired by the spirit of November 7.

He made the call while addressing a programme organised by Chattogram Metropolitan BNP on Saturday (November 7), marking National Revolution and Solidarity Day.

Mir Helal said the spirit of November 7 was a key inspiration for protecting the country's independence and sovereignty.

He urged everyone to work together to strengthen multiparty democracy and ensure economic freedom, equality and justice.

Earlier, BNP leaders hoisted national and party flags, paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the 1975 uprising at Biplob Udyan and organised a blood donation programme.
