Hamza, Farhan join Bangladesh squad Monday

Bangladesh are set to get a major boost as Hamza Dewan Chowdhury and young forward Farhan Ali Wahid will join the national team on Monday ahead of their SAFF Championship match against Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh began their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Bhutan on Thursday, thanks to Mohammad Ibrahim's goal.

Team manager Amirul Islam Babu confirmed that both players would join the squad on Monday and are expected to be available for the Sri Lanka match.

Hamza has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Bangladesh, while 19-year-old Farhan has scored once in two matches.

Their arrival is expected to strengthen Bangladesh's midfield and attacking options.
