FBCCI, Labaid sign healthcare benefits agreement

Members of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country's apex trade body, along with their employees and immediate family members, will receive special discounts on medical services at Labaid Group hospitals under two agreements signed between the organisations.

The agreements were signed last week at the FBCCI office in Motijheel, Dhaka, to make specialised healthcare services more affordable and accessible to the business community and its employees.

FBCCI Administrator Md Fazlul Hoque and Labaid Group Deputy Managing Director Sakif Shamim signed the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on behalf of their respective organisations.

Under the agreements, eligible members, employees and their family members will enjoy corporate discounts on outpatient diagnostic tests, advanced medical imaging and hospital bed charges at Labaid Cardiac Hospital, Labaid Specialized Hospital, and Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre in Dhaka and Chattogram.

The initiative is expected to help businesspeople and their families reduce medical expenses while accessing specialised healthcare services.

FBCCI Secretary General Md Alamgir and Senior Additional Secretary General Shah Md Abdul Khaleque attended the signing ceremony. Labaid Cancer Hospital CEO Dr Sambit Kumar Das, Chief Business Officer Masud Ahmed and General Manager (HR and Admin) Mohammad Kawsar Jahan were also present.
