Southeast Bank holds strategic business directions meeting

Southeast Bank PLC organised a ‘Strategic Business Directions’ meeting on Friday at the Bank’s Head Office. 

The meeting was organised with the objective of aligning strategic business priorities, addressing key operational challenges, and formulating forward-looking action plans to ensure sustainable business growth, says a press release.

The meeting was graced by the presence of M A Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Director, Md Rafiqul Islam, Director (Nominee Director of Asia Insurance PLC) and Independent Director Justice Md Azizul Haque attendant the meeting.

Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director of Southeast Bank PLC, presided over the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Bank’s senior executives, Heads of all Branches, and Regional Heads, providing an important platform for strategic discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative efforts towards achieving the Bank’s strategic objectives.

The meeting included a comprehensive review of the Bank’s overall business performance and operational activities. Key areas of discussion included deposits, advances, loan recovery, exports, imports, guarantees, profitability, and other pertinent business matters, with a focus on identifying challenges, exploring opportunities, and strengthening the Bank’s overall business performance.
