Meet on law & order held in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Nov 8: A district law and order committee meeting was held at the Noakhali Deputy Commissioner’s Office, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Shafiqul Islam, to review the district’s security situation and strengthen crime prevention and public safety.

Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher joined the meeting virtually as the chief guest. Noakhali-4 Constituency MP Md Shahjahan, Noakhali-5 Constituency MP Fakhrul Islam and Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Abu Tayeb Md Arif Hossain attended as special guests.

Discussions focused on recent law and order developments, crime control and prevention measures, coordination among government agencies, and steps to improve public security and service delivery.
Officials from various government departments, freedom fighters, lawyers and public prosecutors also attended.
