Sports Festival for Autistic Children to be held in Kishoreganj tomorrow

A colourful sports festival for the autistic children will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) in Kishoreganj at the district's Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Stadium.
District Commissioner (DC) M Azimuddin Biswas, as the Chief Guest, will inaugurate the event at 3:00pm.
The National Director of Bangladesh Special Olympics Committee (BSOC) M Faruqul Islam will be there as special guest.
The festival was arranged by the District Sports Office under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
This initiative was taken under the yearly scheme of  the National Sports Council (NSC).
The talented players in Athletic, Football and Cricket will be awarded in the festival.
The finally selected players may get a chance to take part in the selection process of the Bangladesh Special Olympic Team.
Besides, a presentation on the 'Young Athlete Programme' which was initiated by the Bangladesh Special Olympic Committee (BSOC) for the under-9 autistic children and their families.
The preliminary test of the participants of this festival began before Eid on June 18 in three different school campuses in Kishoreganj.
Seven players get selected from each campus.
