A 16-member new executive committee-2016 of Jagannath University (JnU) chapter Badhan, a voluntary blood donors' organization, was formed on Sunday.
Zahidul Islam, a student of Political Science Department, and Farid Sheikh, a student of Islamic History and Culture Department, had been elected the President and General Secretary respectively for the next one year. The announcement came at its annual meeting held at its office Abokash Bhaban at around 11:00am.
JnU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Mijanur Rahman attended the event as the chief guest while JnU Registrar Engr Md Ohidujjaman, Journalist Association President SM Al-Amin and Badhan central President Arup Sarkar Roni were, among others, present with JnU unit Badhan former President Saifur Rahman Fahad in the chair.
