BNP determined to restore working people’s rights: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said on Tuesday that BNP is determined to restore rights of working people who are playing key role of social progress.

In a message on Historic May Day, he said, "On the occasion of the Great May Day, I extend my sincere greetings and congratulations to all the working people of the world including Bangladesh. Wish them happiness, comfort, prosperity and safe life."

He said, May Day is an unforgettable historical day in world history. In 1886 on this day in the Hay Market of Chicago city in America the rights of 8-hour working day of workers was achieved by workers by shedding blood.
Mirza Fakhrul said that BNP is determined to restore the rights of working people, the flag bearers of social progress and they always played an important role in protecting the interests of the workers.

"In future, we will continue to work tirelessly for the welfare and safe working environment of working people. The development of world civilization and the opening of new horizons of science and technology are done by the hard work of working people. The historic contribution of workers strengthens the global economy," he said.
