Kazi Aziz Ahmed passes away

Kazi Aziz Ahmed, screenwriter of Liberation War film "Ora Egaro Jon" has died. He was 80. He passed away at his daughter's residence in Sherpur due to old age complications. Kazi Aziz Ahmed is also credited for writing the script of films "Ka Kha Ga Gha Umo", "Uljhan", "Erao Manus", "Sangram", "Ananta Prem" etc. He is also famous for writing the song "Chokh Je Moner Kotha Bole" which was included in the 1970's film Je Agune Puri starring Abdur Razzak.
During the latter part of his life, Kazi Aziz Ahmed was living in his residence at Gandaria. A couple of days ago he went to visit his eldest daughter, Kazi Bannya Ahmed in Sherpur. There he died suddenly.
Kazi Aziz Ahmed was born in 1939. He started his career in the film industry in 1962 as the assistant director of Obaidul Haque in the film "Dui Diganta." Since then he has worked in many films in diverse roles like scriptwriter, screenwriter, director, dialogue writer etc.
