Pathshala to finally get released today

Children's film 'Pathshala' has finally got room for release. The film has taken part in many international film festivals championing the cause of street children and worker children. The director Asif Islam has said that the film would be released in Star Cineplex and Blockbuster Cinemas today. Website of Star Cineplex shows three daily schedules for the film. The film was supposed to be released last week, but could not manage hall reservations. The other director of the film is Faisal Roddy.
The film is about ten-year old boy Manik. He leaves his hometown and his studies in the face of harsh realities of life like 'poverty'. He comes to Dhaka and manages job at a car workshop. But from then on dramatic events start happening in his life. The synopsis points out that he would finally win in life and get access to education. The role of Manik has been essayed by Habib Arinda. The role of another child has been played by Ima Akter Kotha.
The makers claim the film has won plaudits in Canada, Germany and India. A poster of the film has already been unveiled which shows a boy seeming to be Manik reading book of general knowledge apparently in his employee's garb.
