Closure of all educational instts to be extended again

The closure of all educational institutions across the country will be extended again for 15 days to one month due to novel coronavirus pandemic.

Jakir Hossain, State Minister for Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, said, "The primary institutions will not be reopened till the coronavirus situation becomes normal. The ongoing closure may be extended. The Prime Minister will inform the final decision over the matter soon."

"Studies through online are going on, though the shutdown of the educational institutions are going to be extended," he added.

The existing closure of schools, colleges and universities will expire on January 16.
