Four new sectors to get cash assistance on export

The government has taken a decision to provide export incentive or cash assistance to four new sectors for the current fiscal year 2021-22.

The new sectors included tea, bicycles and their parts, MS steel products, and produced cement sheets, as per a Bangladesh Bank (BB) circular issued on Monday.

As per the circular, the government will provide 4 percent cash assistance to the four new sectors.

The cash incentive against export of products under 38 categories announced earlier will also remain unchanged in the current fiscal.
