Three more products get GI status

Three more products of Bangladesh have been given the status of Geographical Identification (GI), raising the number of products to 31 so far.

Ministry of Industries on Thursday published a journal recognising the three new products in this regard.

The new GI products are: Khejurer Gur (date molasses) of Jashore, Mishti Paan (sweet bean) of Rajshahi, and Nakshikantha (embroidered quilt) of Jamalpur.
