ICT chief prosecutor Tipoo to be buried at Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard

International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)'s chief prosecutor Advocate Ghulam Arieff Tipoo will be buried at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard in the capital.

His first namaj-e-janaza was held at the Miniuster's Apartment at New Bailey Road. Then his second namaj-e-janaza was held at the International Crimes Tribunal premises. Later, the body was taken to Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) office and then to Central Shaheed Minar where people from all walks of life paid their tributes to him.
Ghulam Arieff Tipoo died at LabAid Hospital at Dhanmondi in the capital at about 8:15am on Friday. He was 93.

He was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia six days ago.
