Mercantile Bank approves 10pc cash dividend

Mercantile Bank PLC approved 10 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2023 at its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually from its head office on Thursday, says a press release.  

The meeting was presided over by Morshed Alam MP, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mercantile Bank.  Banks Managing Director Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury delivered his welcome speech at the AGM.

The bank has also reported consolidated EPS of Tk. 1.86, NAV per share of Tk. 23.91 and Net Operating Cash Flow of Tk. 4.80 for the year ended on 31 December, 2023.

The Chairman said on this occasion that, Mercantile Bank succeeded in 2023 by means of co-operation and support of its shareholders, clients, Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies.
