A total of 15 officers have been put in charge of Dhaka police stations.
An order issued by Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Mainul Hasan in this regard on Thursday.
The new OCs are -- Mohammad Sajedul Islam for Turag Police Station, AKM Shahabuddin Shaheen for Shahbagh Police Station, Md Sajjad Hossain for New Market Police Station, Md Mohsin Hossein for Sutrapur Police Station, Atiqur Rahman for Bangshal Police Station, Kaishyanu for Lalbagh Police Station, Mohammad Ataur Rahman Akondo for Rampura Police Station and Sohrab Mia for Mugda Police Station.
In addition, Md Mofizur Rahman is the new OC at Kadamtali Police Station, Md Mainul Islam at Jatrabari Police Station, Md Shafiqul Islam at Shyampur Polie Station, AKM Mamunur Rashid at Shah Ali Police Station, Rakib Ul Hossain at Darussalam Police Station, Mahfuz Imtiaz Bhuiyan at Adabor Police Station and Mohammad Golam Mostafa at Mohammadpur Police Station.
The DMP commissioner had previously appointed 13 others to the post in two separate orders.
So far, 28 new officers-in-charge have been appointed to DMP police stations.
