Opinion exchange meeting on child marriage held

To raise awareness on child marriage and national schedule, Girl Child Advocacy Forum and Ministry of Women Affairs organized a meeting cooperation with Plan International Bangladesh on last Monday at District Administration convention hall. Mahmuda Akter Kona, Madaripur District woman affairs officer, played roles in the programme as president and the main article was presented by Sohanoor Rahman Sohan.
Kamal Uddin Biswas, DC of Madaripur was present at the meeting as a chief guest.
All participants expected that the minimum age of marriage for girls would be 18.
