The 137th Syndicate Meeting of Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) was held on Wednesday at the university campus.
The meeting was chaired by CUET Syndicate Chairman and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan.
Key participants included Prof Dr. Sudip Kumar Pal, Dean of the Faculty of Urban and Environmental Strategy; Prof Dr. AH Rashedul Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; and Prof Md. Hasan Maruf, Additional Secretary (Development) of the Ministry of Education’s Secondary and Higher Education Department.
Other notable attendees were Dr. Md. Ziauddin, Chattogram Divisional Commissioner; Prof Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Director of the Institute of Energy Technology; Prof Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain, Director of the Department of Planning and Development; and Prof Dr. Md Zahidur Rahman from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jahangirnagar University.
The meeting addressed various administrative and academic issues aimed at advancing the university’s development and strategic goals.
