Two Army officials become ambassadors

The interim government has given appointed Major General Md Khaled Al Mamun and Major General Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman Rashid as ambassadors. 

In this regard, their services have been placed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was stated in a notification signed by Public Administration Ministry's deputy secretary Abul Hayat Md Rafique and issued on Thursday (December 26).

The notification stated that the services of Bangladesh Army's Major General Md Khaled Al Mamun and Major General Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman Rashid were placed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on deputation for appointing them as ambassadors.

Besides, another notification stated that Bangladesh University of Professionals' (BUP) Chief ICT Officer Brigadier General Mohammad Sadat Hossain was returned to the Bangladesh Army.
