A Football tournament at Kallyandi rolled Friday

With the participation of 20 teams, a football tournament by the Salma Begum Memorial Library began on Friday at the Piyar Sattar Latif High School at Kallyandi, in Narayanganj's Bandar. 

Mortuza Shariful Islam, Additional Commissioner of Taxes at the National Board of Revenue (NBR), inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest. 

Additional Commissioner of Taxes of NBR Zahirul Islam Khan and Associate Professor of Ghior Govt College in Manikganj Mohammad Moshiur Rahman were there as special guests. 

Nurul Islam Memorial Library team won the opening match over Kandipara Sporting Club 3-0 on the day. 

Arba netted one while Kanak scored one for the winners. Scorer Arba was named the man of the match.     photo: Observer DESK
