Bangladesh receives $240m remittances in 28 days

Bangladesh received a total of $240.05 million in remittances through official banking channels during the first 28 days of December, according to a report from Bangladesh Bank.

The central bank said that the daily remittance for the 28 days of December was higher compared to both November and December of the previous year.

The country received $8.64 million in remittances every day on average, up from $7.33 million in November and $6.64 million in December 2023.
