The Bangladesh men's and women's cricket teams are set for a packed schedule in 2025, featuring major tournaments and bilateral series across different continents.
The men's team will kick off their international commitments soon after the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Their year begins with the prestigious ICC Champions Trophy, scheduled from February 19 to March 9. Pakistan will host the event, while India will play its matches in Dubai under the ICC's Hybrid Model. Bangladesh is grouped with India, Pakistan, and New Zealand, with their matches slated as follows:
February 20: Against India in Dubai
February 24: Against New Zealand in Rawalpindi
February 27: Against Pakistan in Rawalpindi
Following the Champions Trophy, the men's team will host Zimbabwe in March for a three-match ODI and T20 series. In May, they will tour Pakistan for another limited-overs series featuring three ODIs and three T20s.
The mid-year schedule includes a tour of Sri Lanka in June, where the team will play two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 matches. Later, Bangladesh will host India in August and the West Indies in October for three ODIs and three T20s each. In November, Ireland will visit for a comprehensive series featuring two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20s.
The women’s team will also have a busy year, beginning with a tour of the West Indies in January and February, where they will play three ODIs and three T20s. Their primary focus will be on securing qualification for the Women’s One-Day World Cup, scheduled for September and October. They will conclude the year with a tour of India in December, featuring three ODIs and three T20s.
