CHAR FASSON, BHOLA, Jan 7: Red crabs and birds are decreasing at Tarua Beach in Char Fasson Upazila of the district due to free style moving of tourists.

Tarua is the detached beach of Dhalchar in the upazila.

According to beach sources, for increasing arrival of tourists and their free-style moving, red crabs and birds are disturbed.
There is no government instruction about tourists' travels in Tarua Beach that is travelled by thousands of tourists.  Yet, the security is not adequate.

Since 1965 Dhalchar has been named as Tarua Beach by locals. This beach is about 35 kilometre (km) in the south east from Char Fasson town.

According to environment scientists, crabs need uninterrupted moving facility. Free style tourists are harmful for them, they added.

The beauty of the one kilometre Tarua Beach is much attractive than that of Kuakata and Cox's Bazar sea beaches.
