At least two people have died, and multiple others have been injured in the Eaton Fire, which has spread near Pasadena, Los Angeles County Fire Department Chief announced at a news conference on Wednesday.

The fire has nearly doubled in size since the last update, now covering 2,227 acres. Despite the efforts of 700 firefighters, 0% of the fire is contained due to extreme wind speeds and challenging terrain.
The blaze has destroyed at least 1,000 structures and continues to burn dangerously in both eastern and western directions. One firefighter has also been injured while combating the flames.

Southern California is currently facing multiple wildfires, creating significant challenges for firefighting teams. Local officials have urged residents to remain vigilant and follow evacuation orders as the situation develops.
