Snatch away Jubo Dal leader: ADSM takes position on Dhaka-Mawa expressway

The Anti-discrimination Students Movement took position on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway protesting to snatch away Jubo Dal leader Tarikul Islam, a FIR-listed accused, from Munshiganj's Sreenagar Police Station.

The protesters have blocked the highway since 12noon on Saturday.
Before sit-in, they gathered Dhaleshwari Toll Plaza near the expressway and distributed leaflets.

Police on Friday arrested Jubo Dal leader Tarikul Islam, a member of Srinagar upazila Jubo Dal convening committee, in a case.

Approximately, 100 activists from the upazila BNP unit and its affiliate organisations allegedly stormed the station and snathced away Tarikul from the police custody.

But they later did not return back Tarikul, though ensuring to return him.
