Govt appoints 267 assistant commissioners from 43rd BCS

The government has appointed 267 candidates from the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination as Assistant Commissioners in the administration cadre. 

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an official notification on Friday (10 January 2025), confirming the appointments.
The notification directs the newly appointed officials to report to their respective divisional commissioners by 15 January 2025. 

The appointees will also have the authority to function as Executive Magistrates upon joining.
