Chankharpul killing: ICT orders to send constable Sujon to jail

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Sunday sent police constable Sujon to jail after he was shown arrested in a case filed for crimes against humanity over killing of five individuals in old Dhaka's Chankharpul area on August 5.

ICT chairman Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder issued the order.

Around 10:30AM, Sujon was produced before the tribunal.
The ICT also ordered the prosecution to submit the investigation report on February 23.

The tribunal on January 1 issued an arrest warrant against Sujon for killing five people at Chankharpul on August 5.
