Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Litton Das delivered a masterclass with the bat in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), after being dropped from Bangladesh's Champions Trophy squad due to his recent poor form.
Playing for Dhaka Capitals on Sunday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Litton responded to his critics in style, scoring his maiden BPL century off just 44 balls.
Litton's remarkable knock, which included 8 fours and 7 sixes, powered Dhaka Capitals to a commanding total in their match against Durbar Rajshahi.
Alongside Tanzid Hasan Tamim, who also provided valuable support, the pair put together an opening partnership of over 150 runs, laying the foundation for a big score.
Despite Litton's explosive performance, Dhaka Capitals are still searching for their first win in the ongoing BPL.
