Md Golam Rasul appointed new SB chief

Md Golam Rasul has been appointed as the news chief of the Special Branch (SB) of Bangladesh police.

He has been promoted from Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) to Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG).

A notification was issued regarding this matter from the Department of Public Safety Police-1 branch under Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday.
The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman. 

He said that DIG Md Golam Rasul has been promoted from DIG to AIG, and he will also serve as the chief of SB.
