Rangamati tantalised by rising tourists

RANGAMATI, Jan 15:  Tourists' crowding that began in attractive spots in the district in early December has still been prevailing.

Tourism businessmen and related ones said, they are getting good responses from winter tourists. 
In fact, the crowding of enthusiastic tourists started to pick up since December 8 afternoon, turning the Rangamati Tourism Holyday Complex into a symbol of attraction along with the hanging bridge.    
  
Most of the tourist attractions included Sublong Jharna, DC Bungalow,   Polwel Park, Rajbari, Kaptai Lake, Asambosti, Nilanjona Resort, Beranna Lake, E-jour, and Rannetugun spots.

A tourist from Dhaka Naym said, "I have firstly been in Rangamati. It is the first to see hill and lake, and their harmony." 
"I couldn't think it is so fascinating," he added.

Hasan from Feni said, "At the end of the year and in the beginning of the winter, I have come with friends to travel in Rangamati. Its attractions are pleasing."

A lineman of the tourism ferry ghat Md Fakhrul Islam said, "The long ban by the administration caused big damages to our boat drivers and owners. The ban is no longer. We hope good businesses in coming days."

Manager of Rangamati Tourism Holiday Complex Alok Bikas Chakma said, though tourists decreased during the ban time, they are now coming.    

Crowding of tourists is going on in Sajek Valley.

Sajek Cottage Owners Association's General Secretary Motijoy Tripura said, Sajek is now tantalised; for congenial atmosphere, tourists are higher now.

On Thursday and Saturday, the rush of tourists is higher, he added.
