PIROJPUR, Dec 30: A fresh committee of Pirojpur Press Club was elected on Thursday with Shafiul Haq Mithu (The Daily Janakhatha) as president and Fasiul Islam Bachuchu (The Daily Samakal) as secretary.
The other office bearers are-- Vice Presidents: Khalid Abu (Daily Amader Somoy) and Arif Mustafa (Bangla Tribune), Shafiul Haq Mithu (The daily Janakhatha) and Fasiul Islam Bachuchu (daily Samakal) elected president and secretary respectively, among other Kahalid Abu (Daily Amader Somoy) Arif Mustafa (Bangla tribune) elected price president. Assistant General Secretary: Tanvir Ahmed (Bangladesh Protidin), Treasurer: Mahmudur Rahman Masud, (Daily Manabjamin), Secretary of Culture and Sports Kumar Shuvo Roy (Bangla Vision), Information and Technology Secretary Hasibul Islam Hasan (Boishakhi TV)
Executive members are-- SM Parvez (Daily Jugantar), MA Rabbani Feroj (Daily Khabor), AK Azad (Daily Sangbad), Moshiur Rahman Maharaj (Daily Gramer Samaj), Zahirul Haq Titu (Daily Jayjay din) Sheikh Rashid Al Munan (NTV), Jhangir Hossain Nanna Poddar (Weekly Boleswar) and Mostafisur Rahman Biplob (Daily Gramer Samaj)
A total of 50 out of 52 voters cast their votes. The election was conducted by executive magistrate Md. Asaduzzaman.
