Minor boy drowns in Nilphamari

A minor boy was drowned in a pond at Harinchara village in Domar Upazila of the district on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Bishal Rahman, 02, hailed from the village.

Family members said the incident took place this noon when Bishal was playing near the pond. Local people recovered his floating body in the pond. UP chairman of Harinchara Azizul Islam confirmed the incident.
